Lightle Named to CCA Board, Hudsonpillar Honored

Hays, Kansas  September 2014 -  Jon Lightle,  President and CEO for Nex-Tech Wireless, was recently elected to the 2014/2015 Board of Directors for the Competitive Carriers Association (CCA) at the organization’s 22nd Annual Convention.  Members of the CCA board dedicate their time, resources and energy to keep competitive carriers, such as Nex-Tech Wireless, and the issues that impact them at the forefront of the wireless industry.

“It is an honor to be named to the Competitive Carriers Association Board of Directors.  This progressive organization plays an integral role in the future of wireless carriers, like Nex-Tech Wireless, and to ensure they have a voice,” stated Jon Lightle, President and CEO of Nex-Tech Wireless.

CCA is the nation’s leading association for competitive wireless providers and stakeholders across the United States.  The licensed service area of CCA’s more than 100 carrier members covers 95 percent of the nation.

“We are extremely pleased Jon Lightle has been elected to CCA’s 2014/2015 Board of Directors.  Jon brings a wealth of knowledge and seasoned leadership to CCA and to the industry,” stated Steven K. Berry, President and CEO of CCA.

Also at CCA’s Annual Convention, Corrina Hudsonpillar, Marketing and Public Relations Supervisor for Nex-Tech Wireless, was honored with the Outstanding Achievement Award.  The Outstanding Achievement Award honors the efforts of a carrier company individual in the wireless telecommunications industry who has made extraordinary contributions to the wireless industry and CCA over the past year.

Hudsonpillar received this award for her extraordinary support for CCA and in particular, strategic support for planning and organizing CCA events.

“I am fortunate to be a part of such a forward-thinking company and organization like CCA,” stated Corrina Hudsonpillar. “By participating in opportunities such as the CCA Events Committee, I am able to help influence the education and networking opportunities for my peers in the industry.”

“Corrina’s numerous contributions to CCA, our events, and the entire competitive carrier community make her an ideal recipient of this year’s Outstanding Achievement Award,” Berry said. “Her dedication reflects the positive influence members can have not only on their companies, but on CCA as a whole.”
