Celebrating Women's History Month

March is a time to reflect, recognize, and celebrate the remarkable contributions women have made throughout history and within our own community. At Nex-Tech Wireless, we’re especially proud to shine a light on the talented, dedicated women who help keep our company and our customers connected every day.

From leadership roles to behind-the-scenes problem solvers, the women on our team bring expertise, resilience, and heart to everything they do. Their impact reaches far beyond our locations and cell towers, strengthening the communities we serve.

Currently, NTW employs 55 women across our administration team and retail locations. There are more women in our Retail Sales Associate positions than men, putting them at 57% of our retail staff. Out of 29 employees in manager/supervisory roles, 12 of those are women. In fact, our Accounting and HR team is entirely comprised of women. All of our Business Services Reps are also women. That is serious girl power right there!

We don’t just have women doing their best on the job, but we also have women who are involved in their communities. We have women who volunteer with children and schools, and we have women involved in local volunteer organizations. Our very own Tasha Eichman was awarded the “Vyve Broadband Rising Star” Award by the Hays Chamber in 2024 and was “described as a true advocate for the community…[Her] passion for improving lives and dedication to serving others with tenacity, passion, and integrity set her apart as an emerging leader.

Last year, the Great Bend retail location was featured in the Great Bend Chamber Outlook Business Journal where the all-female staff demonstrated a “culture of excellence” as everyone at that location exceeded their sales goals and made it into the President's Club or Vice President's Club in the same year. As a local provider, Nex-Tech Wireless takes pride in being part of the neighborhoods it serves.

We also had the privilege of writing an article for the Sallie Edition of Emporia Living magazine in 2023. In that article, Alicia, our VP of Sales and Customer Development, focused on women in tech and how it is a perfect fit for our team:

“At Nex-Tech Wireless, we’ve built an incredible team of Kansans who work to bring the newest technologies to our hometowns. That team contains women in positions at every level of the organization contributing their unique perspectives and helping us drive this business forward with innovative ideas and complex problem solving, all while providing an unrivaled customer experience.”

This Women’s History Month, we celebrate their achievements, honor their stories, and say thank you for the vital role they play in shaping our company’s success.
