End of the Year Wrap-Up

2023 is coming to an end so we figured it was a great time to look back at the many different ways we here at NTW connected with our communities. We like to think of ourselves as more than just a wireless services provider. Sure, we want to ensure that Kansans have access to high speed data and the latest devices, but we also do so much more. We see what the big carriers do and how they treat small town Kansas and we strive to do so much better. Kansas is our home so we like to treat it as such. At every opportunity, we aim to participate, donate to, and sponsor local charities, organizations, schools, and events. This year was no exception!

It seems just like yesterday our very own Andi the Android tried (and failed) to shoot some hoops at the FHSU Mascot game in January. It was such a blast to see other local business participate and see the mascots dance and interact with families. We also participated in canned food drives. A notable one took place in Colby where our team had managed to receive boxloads and boxloads of donations from customers to donate.

Another highlight is our W8T 2 TXT program. This is a free program that aims to teach young aspiring drivers the dangers of distracted driving. While we do sell cellphones, we DO NOT want anyone using them while driving. We know that getting lectured is the last thing young teens want so, we also throw in a fun, interactive portion to hopefully engage them a bit more by having them try to text while driving a golf cart under controlled conditions to show them how difficult and dangerous it can be. If your school or driver’s ed program is interested in having us present our W8T 2 TXT program this coming spring-summer, feel free to sign up here.

This year, we were also honored to not only sponsor the 50th Annual Kansas Shrine Bowl, but we also got to host a kickoff event leading up to the Shrine Bowl at our Hays retail location! It was such a blast to be a part of such a huge event and one that has such a significant impact on the lives of others! And let’s not forget this year’s Kansas State Fair! This is one of our favorite events to sponsor and how could it not be? Our very own Alex and MaKinlie from Marketing spent the day vlogging about the different types of food during Tasty Tuesday. YUM!

There are so many others that we participated in or donated to this year and we can't name them all here. However, you can watch a brief summary of what we did here

In 2024, we’re looking forward to continuing to support our communities. If you or your business, school, or organization would like our support this next year, contact us here. This is something we can promise that we won’t ever let up because we're your friends, your family, and your neighbors. We are proud to call Kansas our home!
